Nelson Remus Awarded CHIRO Trillium Award of the Human Rights

LEBANON, TN, May 28, 2020 – The Canadian Human Rights International Organization (CHIRO) has awarded Nelson Remus of FIDELITONE with The Trillium Award for the support he has given dozens of people who have left their homeland of Venezuela to protect their lives.

Remus, and native Venezuelan, has worked to help find employment for many of those he has supported – several of whom are employed by FIDELITONE in Nashville, TN.

CHRIO has created “The Trillium Award of the Human Rights” inspired in the spirit of the Human Rights Defenders. CHIRO releases an award each year to one of the defenders of human rights in recognition of their work.

CHIRO is a not-for-profit organization, founded by and made up of professionals to raise awareness in the national and international community about human rights issues in countries in conflict.
